LED systems are able to exploit their inherent advantages
with street lighting and outdoor lighting: They make
available the required lighting level with homogeneous
illumination and consume less energy than standard
lamps. The long lifespan of LEDs with only low decreases
in luminous flux are also ideal for the long life cycles
existing in outdoor lighting.
OSRAM offers two product series for this application
sector. The Zhaga-compliant (acc. to Zhaga Book 4)
PrevaLED
®
Compact represents a high-efficiency,
standardized lighting solution achieving outstanding
results across all application sectors with exterior lighting
as well as for industrial hall lighting.
With STREETLIGHT IP, OSRAM provides an innovative,
protected module for street lighting enabling extremely
short luminaire development cycles. The innovative
reflector concept ensures standard-compliant lighting
(in accordance with EN13201) with good quality of light
and high efficiency, as well as a future-safe platform for
further LED technology advances.
All modules are optimized for use together with OSRAM
OPTOTRONIC
®
LED control gear, equipped with the
LEDset interface.
Within this system combination the LED modules
and control gear provide maximum performance
and operational safety, including automatic setting of
operating current and overtemperature protection.
