Stand-alone sensors: starting point for energy-saving lighting control
Sensors provide the basis for energy-saving daylight-
dependent and motion/presence-dependent lighting.
With motion/presence sensors the incident daylight is
measured and if necessary supplemented with artificial
light. The lighting system is switched on only if persons
are present in the room. Using sensors can therefore
achieve energy savings of up to 70%*.
