MCU: simple manual dimming solutions
The DALI MCU digital rotary dimmer distinguishes
between different rotary speeds and has tactile detents
so brightness can be fine-tuned in individual steps as
required. Installed in a flush-mounted box and connected
to the ac power supply, a DALI MCU can control 25 lumi-
naires in this way with the integrated DALI supply. Parallel
connection enables the number of luminaires per group
to be increased to 100 and up to four control points can
be provided.
DALI MCUs connected to one another synchronize
automatically; in other words, the control point can be
changed at any time without the risk of annoying side
effects such as sudden changes in brightness.
Thanks to its integrated switch the analog DIM MCU
rotary dimmer enables up to ten single-lamp 1…10 V
ECGs or five 2-lamp 1…10 V ECGs to be controlled
directly from one control point. If an external power relay
is used up to one hundred 1…10 V ECGs can be con-
trolled.
The neutral white cover can be removed from the
DALI MCU and from the DIM MCU and replaced with
commercially available covers.
