TOUCH DIM
SENSOR
Presence- and daylight-dependent control without
a control unit
Highly simple light management systems are possible
by using the light and motion sensors Touch DIM
®
LS/PD LI together with up to 4 QTi DALI ECGs or
4 HTi DALI transformers or 4 OTi DALI LED power
supplies with standard push-buttons. Desired nominal
brightness values are saved by simple double-clicking.
Automatic standby shutdown with sufficient daylight
brightness can be set.
SMART
GRID
Reading out of momentary mains power
Current power consumption measurements are
increasingly required by users in larger lighting
installations. Via BMS for example the momentary mains
power, current lamp burning time and ECG operat-
ing temperature can be read from the QTi DALI GII. In
addition, maximum occurring input voltage and the time
period the ECG was operated under surge voltage can
be read out for more simple error analysis.
Power2lamp efficiency modification optional
(only with fluorescent lamp ECGs)
A further interesting supplementary function for both
users and luminaire manufacturers is the optionally
settable Power2lamp mode. If for example the
DALI GII ECG (wattage-regulated ECG) is used in
“ex-works” mode, a T5 energy-saver lamp with ap-
prox.10% more wattage is operated (e.g. T5 Energysaver
73 W operated with 80 W lamp wattage) and users
benefit from higher absolute luminous flux.
Optionally, DALI ECGs can also be set to the nominal
wattage for EnergySaver lamps using the OSRAM DALI
wizard. Energy is saved as a result and, in certain
applications, a higher ambient temperature of the
luminaire is enabled.
EL
Emergency light: DC voltage detection optional
In addition to DALI-compliant functions such as system
failure level (disconnecting the control line), DALI GII
control gear features the automatic detection of DC
voltage supply. With DC voltage a pre-programmed lumi-
nous flux level between 0…100 % is implemented. This
luminous flux value can be protected from inadvertent
over-writing by a locking bit. The setting is made either on
the bus system or with OSRAM DALI Magic.
CLO
CLO function (constant lumen output) with
DALI LED control gear
The CLO function is integrated in DALI LED control gear.
Activating the CLO function enables constant luminous
flux over the complete LED lifespan. The LED driver
typically begins with 85% LED efficiency and increases
this continuously over the burning hours. This saves
power at the required lighting level and also protects the
LED modules over their service life.
Further optionally settable functions
Switching between logarithmic and linear dimming
curves for the convenient mixing of light colors.
To activate an automatic burn-in function with a 100 h
meter, a flag can be set in the DALI control gear for
fluorescent lamps following relamping.
